EXPERIMENT: STATIC ELECTRICITY

The 6th graders were able to check, first hand, the operation of static electricity.
First, we cut out small papers and got them to stick to a pen that we had previously negatively charged. Then we did a very similar experiment; only we used a balloon. It was amazing to see how the papers and even our hair clung to the balloons!
