TYNDALL EFFECT
The 2nd ESO class is working on the diversity of matter in the subject of physics and chemistry and this week we have used the Tyndall effect to separate solutions of colloidal dispersions. They look the same to the eye, but using a laser pointer we were able to observe that they do not behave in the same way. In addition, we learned how a laser is made, what its dangers are if not used correctly, and we took apart some classics from cinema, such as lightsabers. Sorry for the fans of the Star Wars saga.
